INTRODUCTION

Happy Place Festival operates in two locations across two days.

London Chiswick

Tatton Park

There is no camping and each day this opens at 09.00 with the last talk/activity finishing at 18:00.

BOOKABLE CARER TICKETS AND ADDITIONAL FACILITIES

We provide a 2 for 1 ticket scheme to those individuals who cannot enjoy the festival without bringing a personal assistant/carer. The ticket type is listed within the event booking page.  We also have dedicated accessible car parking at both sites.

HOW TO BOOK ACCESSIBLE TICKETS

Accessible ticket types can be purchased online and each accessible ticket includes a 1 x personal assistant ticket. Once you have made your purchase, you will be emailed by the online team to request proof of disability to coincide with your ticket. Please keep an eye on your inbox including junk/clutter.

SITE DESCRIPTION

The festival takes place at 2 different locations, both London Chiswick House & Gardens and Tatton Park are in an open field space. As the ground is fully grass the terrain is uncertain due to weather conditions. We do have individual tents across the festival (maps will be available on our site prior to this taking place). Each tent is low level and can be fully accessed via wheelchair, the ground across the site is mainly flat. We have accessible toilet facilities on site.

TRAVEL GUIDE PARKING

Parking – we have a dedicated accessible car parking area at both sites. Please note there is no need to arrange this in advance of arriving at the festival.

ARRIVAL GUIDE

London Chiswick House & Gardens entry has Wayfaring signs located on paths

Tatton Park – entry for the festival will be clearly signposted once you get through the main entry gate to the park.

We have a separate accessible queue into the event which will be clearly signposted.

Please note all customers are subject to search and all bags will be searched, we ask that you do not bring large bags with you.

Once inside the festival the ground is grass and can get muddy, dependant on the weather, although it is generally flat.

TOILETS

There are several accessible toilets, these are for use by those who have accessibility requirements as a priority however these are not locked or for exclusive use and operate on an honesty basis.

MEDICAL SERVICES

First aid is located on the site within the Organiser Office and is manned during all times of the event and available to all.

ACCESS TO PERFORMANCE

We have a BSL available at various stages throughout the festival. A full guide of which talks they will be situated at will be available prior to the festival on the website and indicated on the onsite schedule boards. ASSISTANCE DOGS

We welcome any assistance dogs to Happy Place Festival.

STROBE LIGHTING
